At your first weight loss consultation, one of our providers will discuss your goals and answer any questions you may have about whether or not this medication is the right choice for you. We will also pull blood for initial labwork to look for contraindications and get an overall picture of your health. This includes a Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Blood Panel, your AIC, and Lipase.
Our provider will explain exactly what those results mean. We will also get your initial weight and body measurements and perform an InBody scan, which accurately measures body fat, muscle composition, and visceral fat. At this point one of our providers will review your medical history and decide if they can clear you to begin your Semaglutide treatment.
